Zantel is a Cellular Company quite similar to CellC. The interesting about communicating to people in Tanzania is there are two very distinct cultural groups namely 'Island' and 'Mainland'.

NBC Brand Campaign
With the NBC brand campaign the idea was 'What bank is there for you every stage of you life'
Positioning Tanzania Cigarette Company
The Tanzania Cigarette Company started in 1961 and was opened by Julius Nyerere himself. Cigarette Advertising is still legal in Tanzania but is rumoured to be banned in the next year. TCC had to be firmly established and linked to their products. A three burst campaign was developed.
Burst 1: re-established the logo
Burst 2: linked the products to TCC
Burst 3: Explore the link between TCC and Tanzania with regards to heritage
How to explain an Iceberg to a country that only has ice on the top of Kilimanjaro
Because the concept of an Iceberg had to be communicated, the initial artwork showed the pack in different 'icy' environments.
